About Us

Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum

The April 19, 1995, Oklahoma City bombing changed our nation and our world.  It was the costliest act of terrorism up to that time on American soil...
168 people were killed, including 19 children...
more than 700 injured...it involved thousands of recuers.

Here you will find COMFORT...A solemn remembrance of those we lost.
STRENGTH...from the stories of brave rescuers, survivors and family members.
PEACE...the gentle Oklahoma breezes rippling the Reflecting Pool.
HOPE...as symbolized by the many acts of kindness
and support that followed the bombing.
SERENITY...a renewed confidence in the goodness of humanity and
in the resolve of a community, a state and nation never to bow to terrorism.

Here you will be CHANGED FOREVER
by your visit to one of America's most sacred places
